A technical article is useful only when it helps define a measurable specification, a reviewable document set or a shipment decision.
Define the material
State product form, application, grade target, quantity and destination.
Check the evidence
Review COA, methods, limits, SDS, origin and required declarations.
Set trade inputs
Confirm packing, Incoterm, documents, route and delivery constraints.
Send one clear brief
Share the complete specification so the response can be checked and compared.
Buyer questions
Frequently asked questions
These answers explain how procurement teams should use the hub, not how the page is configured.
Where should I start when I only know the product name?
Open the material or application guide first. Then move to particle size, chemistry, colour, moisture, compliance and shipment resources that apply to the intended process.
Which documents should I request before quotation?
Request the current specification, representative COA, SDS, origin information, packing details and any application-specific declarations. For regulated uses, define the required test methods and reporting limits.
Can mesh size alone define an industrial mineral grade?
No. Mesh describes a sieve opening, not a complete particle-size distribution or material performance. Use the named test method together with D-values, residue or top-cut limits where relevant.
How do I compare two supplier quotations fairly?
Align product basis, dry or wet quantity, grade limits, packing, Incoterm, freight, payment instrument, inspection, documents and all deductions before comparing the final landed or payable value.
Does a company certificate replace a product COA?
No. Company certificates support supplier review. A COA, SDS, assay, inspection record and shipment documents must relate to the actual material, grade, lot or cargo being evaluated.
Procurement desk
Need a documented mineral supply answer?
Send product form, quantity, grade target, application, destination, Incoterm and required documents. The review can then focus on specification fit, evidence and shipment preparation.
